To the Weidner Family, from my family to yours, we are deeply sorry for what has happened. But please believe and have faith in knowing you raised a wonderful son! He was a friend of my daughter Brittney Edwards and has been to my house plenty of times, and he was always respectful, nice, cool, and not to bad on the eyes! (Haha, just a little laughter in your time of grieveing but true). May God bless you! Love Sincerely, Andrea Edwards and Family

From the depths of our souls we want you to know we believe God has a plan for Garrett. We must rejoice knowing that Garrett went home to fulfill God's wishes. Keep your son's memory alive and close to your heart, for one day you will meet up with him in Heaven.
We are your friends and we will be here for you to comfort you or just listen. You may lean on us and God will carry you until your strength comes back.....

Nick and Carol mom and I are so sorry for your loss. Garrett will be truely missed. His smile could light up a room. The thing I remember most about Garrett was how I would talk with him and he would just tower over me. He was truely a gentle giant. His heart was even bigger than he was. I will miss him!!! Carol,
My heart is breaking for you and Nick....Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for your family. I remember him as a little boy playing with Celik and Chucky, riding around the property with his dad, and all the mischieviousness the three boys would get into. You ALL are in our thoughts and prayers,

We've lost a great person. Garrett was a warm, fun and kind individual. His journey from precocious youth to kind young man was punctuated by a simplicity of spirit that stayed with every one who knew him. He was fun, always up for a good game or a good laugh. He was competitive, but in an enjoyable way. Whether he had you pinned down behind a tree in paintball, or getting a good shot off in basketball, Garrett was fun to compete with. He grew to become a very skilled and reliable worker. I will never walk up the path that he and Nick built for Bridget's wedding without remembering him. Perhaps the one thing I respected the most about Garrett was his kindness that belied his age. Many times over the past years when we got together, he would be the “in-betweener too young to enjoy the conversations of the parents and often much older than the rest of the children. Garrett would politely sit and listen to the parents then slip away; not to be by himself, but to be with the kids. Before you knew it, you would see him out in the yard with a great big smile on his face, playing with the kids, who would be hanging all over him. Nick and Carol raised a fine young man. He will be missed by everyone.
