Dad, I feel so lucky to be the one that can call you that and even more blessed to have been able to meet you when I did. We had four very short years to get to know each other. I wish I would have had a lifetime! A part of me feels cheated, feels like you were swooped away just as I was starting to figure out the missing piece of my puzzle. I miss you so much lately. I wish I could go back in time and get a chance to make a plethora of memories with you like everyone else was able to store up. But each time I cross my toes, everytime I see a husky, when I'm sitting in front of a lit fireplace, even when I eat cheese (our crazy obsession with cheese) I think of you. When mom says or texts, "Hey Kiddo" it's like you're whispering it too. I never want to forget the sound of your voice! I love you Dad! (And I can hear you saying, "I love you too baby girl")

Today is Thanksgiving Gary and it was always one of your favorite holidays getting together with family. You have been gone from us now for two years but the ache is still there as if it was yesterday. but knowing you are in a better place makes me thankful.

My thoughts an prayers are with the entire family. Myself and my children visited Gary and Judy often at their house, and my son still talks about the fish he caught in their little pond at their house. We will miss Gary deeply, but will always have the memories we made with him.
