George Cotter Obituary
COTTER George Robert Cotter died Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Many friends and acquaintances knew him as George, but to his family and childhood friends, he was Bob. Bob loved living in Glouster and except for the time he was in the army, he was able to live in what he called "The Peaceful Valley" the rest of his life. Bob enjoyed playing golf and taking fishing trips with his friends, especially the fishing trips to Canada and the fall trips to Michigan to fish for salmon. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Bob was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, one of the original board members of the Trimble Local Textbook and Supplies Foundation, and volunteered at the Bishopville church of Christ food pantry. He was preceded in death by his parents, a baby sister Nancy Ann, and a brother-in-law Arthur Moore. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Ginnan Cotter, whom he married June 14, 1969 at Holy Cross. Other survivors are sister, Charlotte (Paul) Rea of Columbus; sister, Jody Moore of Glouster; brother, James J.
