George was my supervisor for several years and I have told many people in all my years of working he was the best and he was also a friend.I am so sad for the family's great loss of this wonderful man. God needed another angel. He will not be forgotten.

To my South 22nd Street extended family. I am truly sadden that one of my older mentor has gone from labor to rest. However, I believe he is in a better place. I always will and have had great respect for George. He taught me a lot of life's lesson. He never sugar coated anything and was always real. To God be the Glory! Thank you Lord for allowing George to be a part of my growing up.

I was saddened to hear of the untimely passing of George. I remember him as a real nice, cool, and funny guy from middle and high school. I enjoyed socializing with him and his best friend Will. My deepest sympathy goes out to George's family..I can not imagine what you all are going through with his passing. I worked with George and he was an amazing person. He had this way about him that made him friends with a lot of people.His smile and personality made him a special man..We all have fond memories of him from his remarks he would make or the looks he would give someone as they walked past him.He could make everyone smile. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him..

I was so shocked to hear about George. I met him when I worked at OSI many years ago. There was just something about George. He was very respectful, kind,polite and just a good man. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cunningham family. George and my son went to school from middle thru high school together. The Ford family was the house on the block where the neighborhood kids played and ate many meals. George was one of them. I have 2 sons by birth, but I have a whole lot of "Extra Sons". To George's family, words cannot take away your grief, but please find comfort in the knowledge that George was so loved and respected at work. He knew everybody's name, whether he worked with them or not; he greeted everyone with a sincere smile and enthusiastic hello. I can still see that great big grin! He was a dear dear man, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who has the privilege of knowing him!

My condolences to the entire family. I have beautiful childhood memories of you all driving down to Georgia to visit in the summers back in the 80s. George Sr, Shirley, Georgie (as he was so affectionately called), Shika, Shannon, and Keisha all in tow and we would be so looking forward to you guys coming into town. Us kids use to have so much fun. Seems like a lifetime ago. I cherish those memories. I pray for strength and peace for his entire family. God bless you and keep you all.

George, I will miss you so much!!! I will miss looking at you as I walk in the door and you say hey Fletch!! I will miss you making me laugh all day! I will miss you my friend. I still can't understand why you're gone!!! God said, that HE had a better plan for you so I will no long question. The will of God is forever right. Just the other day I was telling my children when we were younger how you Sheika, Trail, and I were going bowling. You and Sheika kept arguing over how a dance was done and who the best dancer was. Next thing I knew the car was stopped in the parking lot of the Livingston flea market with y'all in the lot dancing against each other. A few days later I hear about the passing of my one cousin who could always make me smile and laugh no matter what. I love you and will miss you!
