1960 - 2015

Allison, II Glen E. Allison II, beloved son, husband, father, Pappy and brother, died unexpectedly May 29, 2015 at his residence in Sunbury. Glen was born in Chillicothe, Ohio June 12, 1960 to Glen E. and Roberta (Hardesty) Allison who survive. Glen is survived by his wife, Tammy (McCarty) whom he married July 21, 1979. Together they had two children, Rebecca (Nathaniel) Blankenship of Delaware and Glen Elwood (Chelsie) Allison III of Westerville who also survive. He was the proud Pappy to Lillian and Noah Blankenship and Riley Allison. He will be missed by the congregation of Havens Corners Church of Christ in Christian Union where his brother David (Karla) Allison is the Pastor. He also leaves behind his brother, Matthew (Melissa) Allison of Columbus; and sister, Beryl Simmons of Mentor; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Robert and granddaughter Kylie. With his family, Glen enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, golfing, cheering for the Bengals, Buckeyes, and playing video games. A 1978 graduate of Gahanna High School, he was the first in his family to attend College graduating from Columbus State Community College with an associate's degree in Environmental Science. While there he secured future employment with the City of Pataskala where he worked throughout the different departments for over 15 years. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road in Gahanna. A funeral Service will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Havens Corners Church of Christ in Christian Union, 6696 Havens Corners Rd., Blacklick with Rev. Frank Carl and Dr. Tom Hermiz co-officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Township Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.schoedinger.com.
