Grandma meant the world to me. I am so thankful to have had her as a grandma. I will always remember her being apart of all our family holidays, birthdays, and in our every day lives. As a kid I would have spent every weekend visiting her if I could; she was so much fun!

Grandma taught me how to bake, garden, and sew and those are wonderufl memories to have. I will miss visiting her so very much.

I will miss visiting and drinking coffee in the dining room while talking about all sorts of things.
I will miss the candy jar.
I will miss getting cards and letters.
I will miss looking for funny cards to send to her.

I will never forget the wonderful picnics down at the farm in Morgan county. The 4th of July was never so much fun. Grace definitely kept the party going with her wonderful humor and good food. She sure did keep the guys in line or at least as in line as they could.
She was always so friendly and never seemed to forget your name.
Those are days that Joe and I never forgot.
Shooting flares off of John camoed car. I think Grace secretly thought it was pretty funny.
Though I haven't had the pleasure of seeing her recently, I will never forget her.
My sincere sympathy and prayers are with all of you.

This notice doesn't really capture the fullness of all that she saw and did in her long life---all that she lived through, all the family, and neighbors, cousins, and everyone she knew and dealt with, and all whom she loved so very, very much, and all that she did for others, especially Mrs. White and her Mom, all her generosity, and all her truly many accomplishments and successes in everyday life, in her daily routine, in her self-discipline. She was impressive ! She was very intelligent, and very organized ! and very very good. And we are all very lucky to have known her as we did. She adhered to her convictions, and was a good example for us. She will be missed so much. I miss her already.-------her daughter-in-law--Mary R. Havens 2-4-10
