Dear Scott,

I am so sorry to hear of Greg's death. I remember both of you with affection from my visit to your home while I was in college. Greg was a good man, and he will be missed. Blessings on you and the other members of Greg's family.

Our family was blessed to know Greg and enjoy his thoughtfulness, kind gentle nature and genuine love of life. The world has lost a very bright star but the heavens will always shine brighter as he watches down on us! God Bless!

I knew Greg well several years ago. I even sailed on that beloved boat of his with him now and then (though I am a hopeless landlubber myself). He was absolutely insistent that all sailing with him (and he himself) follow safety precautions. He knew the whims [i.e. dangers] of Lake Erie, and would fire up that big diesel engine and head for the docks the minute the Lake dished up any of her threats. I always felt safe with him. Greg was a caring man, with a passion for free enterprise, homeless animals, Jesus Christ, music, friends & family, steak, good fried chicken :), and Lake Erie. He was intelligent, shrewd, loyal and brave. I am privileged to have known him and will miss him. I know he is with the Lord in heaven, free of pain and worries. My thoughts and prayers are with Scott, Greg's employees and customers at Commercial Tire Service, and his friends and family. This is a hard loss to endure. Sincerely, Amy (Cress) Amerine

I want to say that I am thankful to have met Greg. He was very sweet, funny & encouraging. He would always ask me about school, my daughter & even my mom. He shared stories with me each time he would come into the office. I was shocked to find out of his passing. He was a great guy! My thoughts and prayers are with those who loved him most. You never know how someone can affect your life. Treasure it. The times we take for granted will be exactly what we miss. Thanks for the talks, the encouragement & thanks for the special cup Greg. I miss you. - Ariel of O.L.R.B

I have known Greg since 1989 when I started working for Goodyear Wholesale Tire Co. He was one of my customers and a good friend.
Greg knew that I was Scottish and gave me a picture that his Mother brought back from Scotland. It is mounted and hanging in my home. I will always cherish it and Greg will always be in my prayers

We only knew Greg a short time and met him through our good friend Lynne whom he had been dating. We knew instinctively he was a good man and appreciated the kindness and caring he shared with our friend. Our prayers are with all of you whose lives he touched!
