If anyone related to Harold Duryee reads this, I recently found his report on family genealogy for Henry O'Brien. I am related to him through my Grandmother Irene Judson Sepessy. I am starting to delve into family history and would be most interested in both offering or learning new information. I can be reached as: [email protected]. Lona Sepessy

I knew Hal through his wife, Phyllis, who was a colleague. He was a charming man, one of the smartest people I ever met with a phenomenal memory and the ability to integrate information and insights into knowledge and wisdom. My thoughts and prayers are with Phyllis and all of the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Hal during his insurance regulatory, National Flood and consulting work. Hal was a solid insurance professional, even handed and calm, effective approach. He enjoyed a wonderful life with a great family.

Mr Duryee was a kind man who always had a smile. I don't think I ever heard him complain. We will miss his sweet soul in dialysis. Rest in peace Hal. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family.

Phyllis & family:
I will miss my "boss",teacher & most importantly my mentor. Hal was an example of class & eloquence, his generosity knew no bounds neither did his capacity of guidance & love of his fellow man. We had wonderful guys dinners, boat trips to Put-In-Bay, lots of laughs, lots of wine, lots of memories. I will miss him dearly, he will not be forgotten soon by the many whom he helped & guided during his amazing life serving his fellow man. RIP "Taylor" my dear sweet, gentle friend.
