Deacon Henry James Tinker, age 77, born January 9, 1942 in Buhl, Alabama, peacefully transitioned on early Monday morning, January 28, 2019 following a courageous bout with cancer and went home to be with the Lord. Preceded in death by his parents Jane Ella and Clarence Tinker, Sr., beloved wife of 25 years Cora Lee "Peggy", brothers MacArthur, Sr., James Edward, John, Sr., and Douglas Tinker. Lovingly survived by wife, Charmaine; daughter, Kimberly (Nick) Stuble; sons, James Anthony, Eric Lamar, and Marlon Rashaan; brothers, Thomas Colvin, Clarence (Patricia) Tinker, Grover (Linda) Tinker, and Jimmy (Samantha) Tinker; sisters, Annie (Alfred) Short, Sr., Grace Tinker, Jacqueline Tinker, Annette (Claude) Edwards, Jeanette Tinker and Brenda Tinker; grandchildren, Brittany Soloman, Anthony Tinker, Amanda Tinker, Searria Tinker, and Aryanna Tinker. Visitation 4-6pm and Celebration of Life Service at 6pm. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Road. Interment 10am on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Union Cemetery. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Avenue. To the Family, I was sad to hear about the passing of Deacon Tinker. He was truly a Man of God, and you knew that he love the Lord, his Family & Church Family. Deacon Tinker was a kind gentleman and always concern about the people he came in contact with. He was a Blessing to everyone. He will be miss at Mt. Hermon. May God comfort the Family during this loss. May God Bless You!
