Jack Cook Obituary
Jack Wendell Cook, 78, of Circleville, passed away December 15, 2017 at Pickaway Manor. He was born on April 12, 1939 in Circleville, the son of Clyde and Ruby (Thornton) Cook. Jack worked for the State of Ohio Department of Taxation for over 30 years. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran and member of Emmett Chapel United Methodist Church. Jack was involved in Special Olympics in many capacities for many years and other local sporting activities. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Brian Cook, brothers Clyde and Gary and sister Lois Wadlington. He is survived by his wife, Nita (Grant) Cook; daughter, Sheri (Kevin) Quincel; son, Brad Cook; grandchildren, Jarrett, Noah and Kaylee Quincel and Leah and Cameron Cook; sister, Brenda (David) Cupp; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Emmett Chapel U.M.C. with Pastor Keith Deel officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
