Jack Thatcher Obituary

THATCHER Jack D. Thatcher, 60, of Pataskala, passed away at his residence on July 11, 2008 surrounded by his family. Born on July 4, 1948 to the late James O. and Dorothy (Williams) Thatcher in Portsmouth, Ohio. Jack retired from OSU East Nuclear Med. Department and worked at Park Medical Center and St. Anthony's Hospital. He took great joy in his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, reading and movies. Jack was a Vietnam Veteran. Survived by wife of 23 years, Loretta (LeFevre) Thatcher; father of Brian (Stacy) Thatcher, Daniel Thatcher, Fred (Michele) Thatcher and Jason (Amy) Thatcher; grandfather of Emily, Grace and Jacob; brother of Rick Thatcher and Michael (Marcia) Thatcher; best friend, Chuck Griesinger; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, Pataskala on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hosanna Lutheran Church, 7714 Hazelton-Etna Rd., Pataskala, with Pastor Wayne Zavotka and Pastor Ann Marie Winters officiating.
