Jack Utzinger Obituary
1937 - 2017
Jack Charles Utzinger, 80, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017, Christmas Eve. He was born September 26, 1937 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late William "Bill" and Helen (Grabill) Utzinger. He was a 1955 graduate of Grove City High School and was a farmer on his family's farm for many years. He also helped run the family business, W.C. Utzinger and Sons Peat Moss. Jack also farmed in Florida for many years. He loved being in Florida. He was a true farmer at heart. Jack also worked as an independent driver for the Columbus Dispatch for 30 years and worked for Tabloids Services and Prestige Delivery for many years. Jack enjoyed travelling and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry, Jim, and Tom Utzinger. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lee; sister, Judy (Ed Moore) Utzinger; 4 legged daughter, Kuma; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. December 28, 2017 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery Williamsport, Ohio. Visit www.schoedinger.com to share a special memory or extend condolences.

Linda, so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I still remember when both of you and your dogs surprised me by stopping in at the veterinary clinic where I work in Maine. I'll be praying for you and other family members.
