Hey dad, it was nice that an email was sent today to remember that we had created this book to leave memories. Of course I can never forget the anniversary of the day god decided he needed you more than we did on this earth. The 18, of this month this coming Tuesday was the hardest day of my life, 8 years ago. I never thought I would live my 20s and enter my 30s without you seeing me flourish into this woman you molded. I’m a wife, a mother of two beautiful amazing girls, and a boss. I have also grown into a leader which you made clear when I was younger to always be a leader not a follower. I miss you daddy, I hope your resting peacefully.

I was missing my father a lot today and decided to look him up I was so schocked by all the entries friends from the past have taken the time to write... I know my father even though biologically he was not but he's all I've ever known... He was an amazing man and I always looked up to him ... All these entries just show how many lives he made an influence on and not just mine love u daddy ?

To the Family of James Copeland:

I Loved James Copeland. We attended St. Matthew's and Turner HS together, ran around, chased girlfriends, sports, parties, proms for about 8 years of our early lives. More than a friend, a brother.

Since we had both left Buffalo, our paths have crossed several times and each time we enjoyed each others company as we did when we were high schoolers.

The last time we got together (probably 5 years ago), we said we need to get together more often.

MY LOSS.

James will always be in my heart, thank you for the friendship.

I have been blessed to have known him.

James Copland was a great friend, just like a brother growing up in Buffalo, NY on Cornwall Ave. We were honored to have James Copeland in our Wedding June 1982. He will be so greatly missed.

Although we are experiencing the greatest pain, in the very near future we will experience the greatest joy when Jehovah reunites us with James once again. Cant wait to see your faces when you see James face. WE LOVE YOU'LL.
