James Robert "Jimmy" Stalder, 62, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born October 24, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Lucille (Bays) Stalder. Jimmy was a graduate of Wehrle H.S. and Eastland Vocational School. Jimmy worked for Rich Products for the last 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking. He was a big sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, college basketball, and wrestling. He was a diehard Columbus Blue Jackets fan. Jimmy is survived by his wife of nearly 21 years, Karen; son, Chris Noponen; brother-in-law, Charles (Donna) Schmitt; and many friends. Jimmy's family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to Schoedinger Funeral Service to help with funeral expenses. Visit www.schoedinger.com to share a special memory or watch his tribute video.

I am a classmate of Jimmy's at Wehrle. He used to give me a ride home from school on occasion. Had I known that he died, I would have been at the funeral home to introduce myself.
