James "Jim" Yates, age 49, passed away Monday September 17, 2018. Jim is predeceased in death by his grandparents: Joseph and Mary Webb, mother, Ellen Bowsher and niece, Taylor Yates. Jim is survived by his father, James (Joyce) A. Yates, loving wife of 18 years, Tracy Yates, brothers: Brock Yates, David (Reena) Hendrickson and Andrew (Towana) Hendrickson, children: Richard Fisher, Ashley Johns, Alan Ervin, Wayne Sexton, Cienna Yates and Lexxus Yates, grandchildren: Alana and Alan Ervin, Carter and Julian Johns, Wayne, Shianna and Sarissa Sexton, uncle, David (Robin) Bricker, as well as many loving extended family and friends. Jim worked for DSC logistics as a forklift operator for over 5 years. Jelly was a loyal member of The Black Pistons. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Friends and family may call Tuesday September 25, 2018 from 5 pm - 7 pm with a memorial service at 7 pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City OH.
