Jamie, words cannot express the void left when God called his Angel home. I miss you, your sense of humor and the fun we shared while hanging out with our kids. You will forever be in my heart.❤

Dear Tim.
I am so sorry for your precious loss. I can't even imagine the pain that you are going through. I do know that God loves you and comforts and strengthens you. We are praying for you and all persons affected by the loss of your beloved. Matthew 5:4 says that blessed are they that mourn: for thy shall be comforted. Believe and receive in the name of Jesus. Much love to you.

I had the good fortune to work with Jamie for many years. Jamie was such a positive, kind and helpful person (and also so much fun!) She always set the bar for finding the positive in difficult situations and knew just the thing to say to keep things moving forward. Jamie was a treasure and I will miss her.

Pastor Liggins, Taylor, Terrance, and other family members,
On this day and in the days to come, I am praying with and for you. I am thankful for the joy and love Jamie shared with everyone she met. Her legacy of unconditional love and kindness is very evident in the lives Taylor and Terrance. Tim may our God bring you comfort on those sleepless nights and may you always celebrate the life you shared with you beloved wife.
God bless and much love.

To the beloved family,
Jamie and I have been friends since college. After I graduated I took a job in San Diego and Jamie would come out to visit because that's the type of friend she was. I just learned of the news late last night and my heart is bleeding. I pray for your strength and encourage you to keep going on in the Lord. You will see Jamie again as she is resting in God's arms.

Jamie was a Christian who exhibited her faith. She exemplified the love of God before you ever knew she was a devoted servant of his word. She fulfilled her call and was given rest. Although we long to have her with us longer, she was given a heavenly gift to be caught up without experiencing the woes at the end of this life. I love you Jamie for magnifying God's love inspite of the triumph. Well done His good and faithfulness servant.

Jamie, I will always be thankful for having had you in my life. So many memories, so much laughter, such an inspiration to all. I will miss our talks about our husbands, and how similar they are. I will miss our talks about family and all the important things in life. I will miss your friendship most of all. May you be at peace my dear friend and may your wonderful husband and children find peace too. My heart goes out to them. Love you.

Tim, Taylor, Terrance, Jeff, Jerry, Tina, Kelly, Wanda & James, and the Brown and Liggins extended families. You have been on my mind continually since Tuesday.
As I've reflected over all the things Jamie has done and all the lives she's touched in her short time on earth, I'm overwhelmed. The list just keeps growing in my mind... She was truly a Super Woman. Her family was her world - she loved all of you fiercely.
Jamie's passion and zest for life should be modeled by all of us; I know I will go forward trying much harder to "not sweat the small stuff" and keep my priorities in order. Jamie was always my cheerleader - she encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, both in word and by example, and I did. I followed my passion for writing and Alzheimer's advocacy work, eventually leaving a career of 27 years to follow my heart.
I'll never forget talking to her about potentially leaving Nationwide. I thought I was agonizing over the decision. She listened to everything I had to say, then looked at me and smiled. She said, "You know the answer." She was right but I needed to hear it. I picked up the phone and accepted the job and haven't looked back since.
So many doors have opened in part because my "big sis" encouraged and cheered me on. For that, I'll be forever grateful.
I will always be here for your family should you need anything. I know Jamie would have done the same for me. Sending love and prayers.

It's been a long while since I've seen her bright smile and had her tell me a funny story. We both joked that God certainly had a sense of humor as we were both on the path to being pastor's wives. I'm heartbroken at her passing, as I'm sure many will be. Hugs to Wanda B., may God bless you and keep you during this difficult time. My sincerest sympathy to her family and friends.

To Jerald Brown and family, we are sad to hear about your loss, no words will ever be able to take the place of your love one. The only thing that we have is the joy of your her life and the love that she shared with you and your family, you should know that she is in a much better place and time. Know that she will always be in your hearts and soles forever. God has called Jamie home, the battle of life as we know it has come to an end, your sister is at rest, no more pain and no more sorrow. So, just be with your family and sit back and celebrate the life of your love one. Open your hearts and let the light of God bring you thru your pain.
