Jean Evans Obituary

EVANS Jean Kirk Evans, age 69, of Reynoldsburg, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 24, 2010. She is preceded in death by daughter Donna Evans, parents Fred and Hessie Kirk, brothers Denny, Sammy, and Blaine Kirk, sisters Ethel and Marie. She is survived by children, Sharon (Jimmy) Herd, Columbus, Marvin (Lori) Evans, Columbus, and Billy Evans, Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Josh, Bradley, Brandon, Ashley, Robin, and Kellie; great-grandchildren, Curtis, Gabriel, Harley, Damian, and Jerry; long time companion, Curt Stepp; brothers, Jim (Marilyn) Kirk, Gahanna, Bill (Julie) Kirk, Gahanna, and Don Kirk, Pataskala; sisters, Lola Strong and Beakie Browning, both of Reynoldsburg; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her service will be Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. Bob Owens, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Messages may be sent to her family by visiting www.cotnerfuneralhome.com. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." My Dearest Mother. I miss you so very much. You were truely the best mom any one could ever have. Even though i wish you were still here i know you are in heaven and you are not suffering or in pain anymore. I see you in my dreams, I hear you in my head, and i definately feel you in my heart. My heart aches with sadness but i know you are with God and all your family. Rest in Peace and may God always be with you. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MOMMY!!!!
