There's an old quote that says, "Some folks are wise and some are otherwise." Joan was defintely the former - a wonderfully brass individual who would tell you wholeheartedly if you were acting like the latter. Her opinonated candor and honesty was appreciated by many and, as a result, many of us sought refuge in her advice.
Our thoughts go out to Dana, Donna, Dean, and her grandchildren. She is already missed.
