Joe,
Our "Big Brother", mentor, and pillar of the Frenchman Hill family. Joe, was thousand of miles away from us, for so many years, but always made sure he stayed connected to his loved ones at home in the islands. His sincerity and passion for protecting those he loved will always be cherished and remembered. Rest in Eternal Peace my "Big Brother".

A Tribute to "Joe" and his LEGACY
A legacy is what someone leaves behind for future generations, books, artifacts, money, even a name may be classified as legacy, and many frequently use the word to describe the property that people leave their heirs when they die.But every human being also leaves behind a non-material legacy -- one that is harder to define, yet often far more important. This legacy comprises a lifetime of relationships, accomplishments, truths, and values, and it lives on in those whose lives he or she has touched. Joseph Boschulte's legacy is found in the memories he has left behind; it is a legacy that is deeply healing and most gratifying. Honoring Joe in this way provides the opportunity to further celebrate his life, a life well- lived.
Joe's legacy is found in his kindness and compassion; always being gracious to strangers, being courteous to young and old, giving a kind word, telling an interesting story, giving a smile, a listening ear, or an honest compliment. Joe was always offering to help. His love and kindness were never wasted; he always made a difference. Joe seemed to have more peace, more patience, more joy, and more strength and was always eager to do good. What is most essential is that he will be remembered as a person who captivated the feelings of others, who Maya Angelou calls a rainbow in someone's cloud. Despite the tragedy of what Joe had to go through at the end of his life, he always remained the most compassionate person worth knowing. Joseph Boschulte's life of giving, caring and loving is the legacy he has left behind.

Joseph Oliver Boschulte,
J. O. B.
Man of God who set the standards for all the virtues regarding love, respect, honor of family, higher education, unity... He once said he swam from St. Thomas to Puerto Rico, if he said it - it is true. Joe touched many lives. He set the standard. He raised the bar. His spirit lives on.

Mr. Boschulte was one of the nicest people ever. I'll miss his jubilant spirit. He was always so full of life and offering a kind word.
