We will so miss Joe's phone calls just to chat and see how we are doing. He treated us like members of his family and we are deeply honored that he did. What a privilege to have known him! Rest in peace, my friend!!

I got to know Joe when he and I volunteered for the Jonathan Alder Alumni. We remained in contact through the years, but when I truly got to know Joe was when my husband and I bought the Clock Tower and opened our store. He was a regular, always teaching us so very much about the history of our precious purchase. Every time he came in, he never failed to remind me to keep on the lookout for Mary a special gift. He truly cherished her, his kids, and grandkids and always will be with them. What an awesome guy we have lost.
