I grew up attending LTOB classes and absolutely adored Joy. She always made me, a very shy kid, feel included. Absolutely one of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I still tell people stories of her antics. I'll never forget you, Joy.

She was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I met her when I was 3 through the LTOB kids class. She was very passionate about theater and always encouraged us to do our best. I remember when I was little that when I would get upset in class, she would put me in her lap and sing me a song to cheer me up. She was overflowing with compassion for everyone she met. She always made sure to really get to know all of us kids. She has touched so many lives. Joy was an astounding women who deeply cared for all.

I have known her since I was 3 through the LTOB kids program. She was one of the most amazing people that I have ever met. She was extremely kind and really good with kids. She always took the time to really get to know everyone and make sure that everyone felt welcomed. No matter how chaotic things were during class, she always was there for me and made sure I was doing ok. When I got upset, she would always set me in her lap and sing me a song to cheer me up. She was an astounding lady, and I will miss her deeply.

The world will be a little less bright without Joy in it. She was a wonderful person who touched so many lives. My deepest sympathy to the family.❤

Joy was our neighbor and our children grew up together. Our son Scott was always at the Schmidts house. Joy was always a great person to everyone and she was always involved with her children and loved the theater. We would like to send our love and sympathy to the family and know that she is up there directing the show. Love Dick and Patty
