Judith Lowe Obituary

LOWE Judith A. Lowe, 63, lost her battle with cancer Saturday, February 10, 2007, at home and sailed over the horizon leaving behind her husband, Larry; daughter, Lori Pike (Cameron); seven grandchildren, Aaron, Elisabeth, Timothy, Abigail, Nathanael, Emily and Elisha. Born July 17, 1943 to George and Ruth (Arendt) Olesko in Cleveland, OH. Judy is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Rhamy. Judy graduated from Wooster High School and attended Wittenburg University. She was also a member of Columbus Sail and Power Squadron and past Co-Commander of the Sea Gals Auxiliary. She was employed for 20 years by Checkfree Corporation in Dublin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH, with the service being held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery. Cameron Pike will officiate. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com

Judy was always cheerful as four of us joined for lunch almost everyday. She inspired each of us with her “never give up” attitude. She was a wonderful example and I will miss her.

I always enjoyed the stories Judy shared at work about family and her sailing trips with her husband, she adored her grandchildren and was so proud of them. She will truly be missed and it saddens my heart that such a wonderful women is gone. My prayers go out to her family and close friends.
