Tom, Fred and families,
I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. You surely know how much she meant to my Mom and want you to know how much I appreciated her kind words and fun stories of their friendship. Fred, it was always great to see her cheering on the sidelines at NWK soccer. Her smile and good nature is immortal. My prayers are with you.

Tom and LeeAnn: I was saddened to learn of Julia's passing and want you to know that my heart goes out to you and the girls. Irene and I are very sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of your mother from all the overnights I spent at your house talking politics with her and Hugh and learning the conservative dogma. It obviously worked because you and I both drank the Kool Aid! I seem to remember Julia chanting "I liked Ike" throughout the 60's when others were being taken in by the Great Society. I will remember Julia as a beautiful and very poised lady with a great sense of humor but an equally firm grasp on her beliefs. It was a great honor to have known her.
