Karl Wade Obituary

Wade Karl R. Wade Sr., 84, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2013. Karl was born to Paul E. and Mildred (Hairston) Wade, on September 10, 1928. Survived by wife, Priscilla (Johnson) Wade; Wade children, Karl (Lauricia), Philip (Amber), Jaesen, Gloria Wade all of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Cheers, Willie Mae (Terrance) Paris of New York. Preceded in death by parents P. Edgar and Mildred (Hairston) Wade, brothers Herman (Azilee), Donald, (Francis) Paul Wade, sSisters Marion Cunningham, Gloria Barkstall, host of relatives, in laws and friends. He retired from the City of Columbus Department of Sanitation in 1998, and worked for Ohio Youth Commission for several years. Viewing from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with funeral service beginning at 6 p.m. March 28, Thurs. Antioch Baptist Church 1015 Chambers Rd. Burial on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Dayton National Cemetery Dayton, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to WASHINGTON FUNERAL HOME, (937) 521-2345.
