Kimberly Ann Davis, 59, of Powell, OH lost her year long battle to cancer on Friday, September 7, 2018, after fighting so hard and continuing to love life. She was a 1977 graduate of Woodsfield High School and the Southeast Academy, travel school, in Kissimee, FL. She was the owner of Travel Partners in Dublin, OH since 1988.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Stanley A. Davis on October 22, 2008 and her beloved fur baby, Sadie.
Surviving is her mother, Martha Reynolds Davis of Woodsfield, OH; one sister, Karen (Mark) Stegner of Powell; one brother Kevin (Peggy Jeffers) Davis of Woodsfield, OH; one nephew, Luke Stegner of Powell; three nieces, Ashley (Ben) Curtis of Hilliard, OH, Summer (Kale) Buckenmeyer of Sagamore Hills, OH and Karlie Davis of Dayton, OH; one great-niece, Grace Stegner,of Hilliard, OH and her Dear Friend, Lamar Loveday of Woodsfield, OH
Kim was a life long member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Woodsfield, OH. She was president of her networking group, AmSpirit of Dublin, which she enjoyed her meetings every Thursday. Kim was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 2247 in Woodsfield, OH and the NACTA Travel Organization group. She was known for her Garage/Pool parties with her beloved family and friends; she also loved gardening and her beautiful yard. Kim's mother Martha states: "Kim was always happy and glowing with beauty and was deeply loved by everybody!"
Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in the Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy Street, Powell, OH 43065 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A graveside service and interment will take place on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Oaklawn Cemetery, 227 Oaklawn, Woodsfield, OH 43793

To the family & friends of Kim Davis;
My deepest condolences and sympathies on the passing of Kim. Her smile was infectious as was her warm and loving spirit. Always a good listener and willing to help. My friendship with Kim was a result of our being in the travel business and association in NACTA. I will truly miss seeing her at our events and our chats on the phone.
Praying that you find comfort during these difficult times in knowing that others are thinking about you. May God bless you in this time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences to Kim's family.
I only recently learned of Kim's courageous battle within the last month while in Ohio.
Keeping her memory close in thought and in time may family and friends find comfort in the many precious memories they will share.

Davis Family, my deepest sympathy on the passing of Kim. She always had an awesome smile and never saw a stranger. Kim seem like she always enjoyed life, and lived life to the fullest.
