My deepest sympathies and best wishes to all of Laura's family. My memories of Laura from high school - an overnight at her house where we watched much scarier movies than I was used to seeing; riding in her Volkswagon Bug, a flight in a private airplane; going camping at John Bryan state park. But most of all, the comfort of having a good friend to spend time with at school. I am very glad to have been able to see Laura recently and will remember her with love always.

I'll never forget the times that Laura took me flying while we were in high school together. Once with friends to South Bass Island and once ... to practice for her stunt pilot license! She was a solid, trustworthy and good-hearted soul.

Laura was simply amazing. She loved unconditionally and was one tough woman. She was my only female alliance at Fripp against the boys and last Christmas break (as well as every time at Fripp with y'all) will never leave my memory. Bob, Nathan & Patrick: I worked with Laura at Bank One CDC for several years. She was a great friend to me through several tough times in my life... She always had a joke to tell to cheer me up and a hearty laugh that I will never forget! My heart goes out to all of you and my prayers as well.
