Lawrence Hampton Obituary

Hampton Lawrence "Larry" Hampton born May 14, 1924 in Napoleon, OH, son of the late George and Retta Hampton. Veteran US Army Air Force. Graduate of The Ohio State University. Retired "Chairman of the Board" Northern Lighting Co. Member and Charter President of the Columbus Beechcroft Lions Club, Moose Lodge 1427 Worthington, Past president B.I.A. Golf League of Mill Creek. Preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Shannon Hampton and current wife, Mary Eileen Hampton on January 20, 2013. Survived by children, Pamela Hampton, Jeffrey (Elaine) Hampton, Vickie (Larry) Metz, Veronica Hampton, John Hampton; step-daughters, Linda Calladine and Beverly (Harry) Lane; grandchildren, Robin (Rick) Murphy, Jennifer Grago, Scott Metz, Michelle (Joe) Brock, Lindsey Calladine, Rase and Tyler Hampton; great-grandchildren, Jake Boyles, Olivia, Ian and Mallory Grago. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd., where the funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in his memory to the Columbus Beechcroft Lions Club, 7649 Covington Springs Ct., Westerville, OH 43082.
