my dearest libby, i am so saddened that we lost touch and i did not know what you were going through or what those who are so close to you were going through. i was stunned to learn today in an email and words fail me. i hear the echo of your laughter, the faith in your voice as you prayed the rosary, i see your smile, and the twinkle in your eyes, and the sounds of our shared laughter for something your sense of humor brought to light, long conversations in your driveway, the warmth of your ever loving heart, ...and i light a candle, because that is what you were: a light. i know certainly one star will shine brighter for those you loved so dearly and no longer have your physical presence with them. i pray they will find a strength day by day. be at peace, my friend. thank you for the gift of allowing me to share a part of this journey called life with you. love, kath

Dear John, JB, and Carrye,

Libby truly was my "Sunshine" @ AlterCare. She was so special and it was my pleasure to have her in my life. John, you were her "knight in shining armor!" I never heard her say one cross word about her "St. John." What an inspiration both of you were to me and so many others. Dearest Carrye and JB, how your Mother adored you. She always lit up when she talked about you. You are blessed to have had your beautiful Mother! Thank You for allowing me to share in her life. You are in my prayers.
Love,
Crystal

Dear John and family,
How sorry we are to hear about Libby. She was a remarkable lady and suffered far too long. I'll always remember what a wonderful friend she was to me and many others, at St Mary's and OSU. Her parents and brothers were the greatest, in my young life and it's so fitting that we send memorials to "The Spirit of the Springs." Libby always embodied that spirit, was a loving, caring friend and she will be sadly missed, forever.
Love,
Joyce and Jerry Penn
