My freshman year at PHS (77-78) had to be one of Mrs. Carter's first at the school. I had her for only one class, but she was my yearbook advisor for all four years. To this day, I have yet to meet a person with as much spirit and enthusiasm for life. We are all the better for it.

I remember Mrs. Carter well, both from math classes during my years at PHS between 1994-1998 as well as her work as an accompanist for the choir. I will always remember her as being sharp witted and a very caring and loving teacher and mother. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Mrs. Carter was my Geometry teacher in 1977. We crossed paths almost 30 years later when I reintroduced myself to her prior to a Christmas concert at Central. She remembered me and was now accompanying my daughter's holiday band concert. She hadn't changed a bit. I feel honored to have had her as my teacher and will miss that my daughter's will not be able to enjoy her enthusiasm when they reach Central. She'll be missed, but always remembered fondly! May our prayers bring comfort the Carter family at this time. My deepest sympathy.

We were fortunate that both our children had Mrs. Carter for math, and they both adored her. We will never forget how she tutored our son and made him and no doubt countless other students believe in themselves. I can't remember a musical event when we didn't see Mrs. Carter. She was a genuine and kind person and a gifted teacher, and will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Carter's family.

My daughter had her as a math teacher 4 1/2 years ago @ Pickerington HS. SHe had trouble with math and Mrs. Carter helped her in ways she previously didn't understand through her thoughtful methods. I knew right off who it was upon the news though it had been 4 years since I last had any contact with her. May her soul rest in peace.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathies to John, Mindy and Julie at the tragic loss of their wonderful wife and mother. Everyone who knew Linda an enjoyed her vibrant personality and many capabilities will miss her dearly. She calmed the racing hearts of many a soloist and singing group by simply taking her seat at the piano, and giving them one of her confident and encouraging smiles. I will so miss seeing her and hearing her play when I come "home" to visit Peace Church. Linda, God bless and keep you.

I had the pleasure of teaching Sunday School with Linda 2 years ago. One of the things she did was have the kids send cards to those who were in nursing homes or could not get out of their homes. This brightened so many people's days. She has touched so many lives. Touching many lives also extended into her teacing career. I will miss listening to her music at church on Sunday mornings. She is going to be greatly missed, but has finally gone to be with God whom she has served so well for so many years. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Mrs. Carter was my Geometry and Algebra 2 teacher in 1977 and 1978 at Pickerington. She was at our 25 year reunion in 2005. She was very caring about kids, appreciated a good sense of humor and wanted people to succeed. You are in my prayers

Linda was more than just my cousin's wife. She was a gift to our family. She taught me to play the piano and helped me with my math homework too. We played together, she on the organ, me on the piano, at Southside Church of Christ in the 1970's. I'll always have fond memories of our times together. I know the angels are being accompanied by one of the best now. Love to John, Mindy & Julie.

Mrs. Carter was one of my math teachers way back when, when I was in high school, and I used to babysit Mindy and Julie when they were little girls. I learned so much from her, not just about math, but also about life. My sincere love, prayers, and sympathy go out to her family, friends, and students at this time.
