Quint, Louis
Louis J. Quint 94, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in West Chester, PA. Born and lived in Columbus for 80 years. He attended Ohio State University and graduated from the Pittsburgh Mortuary College. Louis served in the US Army during WWII in Europe. During his life span he was employed as a funeral director with his father at The John Quint and Sons Funeral Home. He was a Pharmaceutical Rep for Massengill/Beecher Drug Company. He retired as an Executive Buyer of Men's and Women's Clothing from Lazarus with 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Maeder and his son Philip D. Quint, father John Quint Sr., mothers Ida Salvatore Quint and Mary Quint, several brothers and sisters. Survived by his children, Lise and William Ashton, Tracy and Tom Byrne, David Quint; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Robert Quint M.D.; sister, Anna (Lou) Treboni; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the MAEDER QUINT TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St., Sunday from 2-6pm. Prayer service 5:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S. High St., on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery, where burial will follow with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary German Village Capital Campaign c/o St. Mary German Village, 672 S. Third St., Columbus, OH 43206, designated to the Maeder Family stained glass window or to the RETIRED Sisters of Notre Dame, 701 E. Columbia Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45215. YOU are "ONE OF" The Greatest Generation.... Interment with Military Honors.. And Semper Fi....................... Soldier.
