I didn't know Lynda had passed. I miss CV and Lynda and the kids. I met them when I worked for CV in Steamboat Springs but we were both fellow Ohioans from Columbus. Lynda was always smiling and laughing. The angels will enjoy her wit :)

As Lyndas family and friends said goodbye and laid her to rest yesterday, Ive thought about the wonderful human being Lynda was almost nonstop. Ill never forget her sense of humor, crazy stories and experiences that were as unique and unforgettable as she was. Most of all Ill never forget her kindness and willingness to help others, no matter what. This seems to be a common thread in posts and thoughts from friends and family. I regret that our friendship was not as active this past decade but I will never forget the good times we shared the previous one. Ill never forget her and pray for healing and peace for her whole family, but especially all her children who she loved so dearly. May your path to the eternal be filled with light my dear friend. I will miss you.

To Lynda's family, I am very sorry for your loss. I knew her as an acquaintance as she waited on me many times at Kroger. She was always thorough, sweet and took her time, never rushed and always had a smile. We talked because I am a speech therapist and she explained about her voice to me. I can't imagine the feeling of losing your mother as I still have mine. Lynda was close in age to me, I am 53 and her home was not far from me at all. This hit home and I wanted to write to let your family know she touched so many lives with her kindness.

Lynda was my friend. We were friends at an early age as our fathers worked together. We spent time at "the farm", catching crawdads and getting dirty. We were in the same high school class, although our paths rarely crossed. After high school, a mother's group was formed and we were together again. This group of women supported one another, through pregnancy, newborn babies, terrible twos, college and beyond. I always looked forward to seeing Lynda, and hearing yet another funny story she had to tell of something that could only happen to Lynda. Perhaps it was just the way she told the story that made me laugh. But Lynda was one-of-a-kind. She never tried to impress anyone, dressing down to go to the grocery, coupons in hand. I'll always remember her crazy hair and laid-back attitude, never complaining, never talking bad about anyone, standing by her husband through his battle with cancer and eventually becoming a widow. She battled her own medical issues but rarely talked about herself.

My heart breaks for Lynda's family, including her dad, sisters, and children. You were loved by many, Lynda, and you will be missed.

This woman was SO phenomenally helpful during the cancer treatment of my friend Pam. I cannot express adequately the great lengths she went to, helping us with the pharmacy issues. She was a genuinely kind and caring individual, and Gahanna has truly lost a darling angel.
