Maria D. Gibson

Gibson Maria D. Gibson, age 44, Saturday, December 3, 2016, after a courageous battle of diabetes. Maria was born November 22, 1972 in Columbus, OH to Larry B. and Dianne (Monska) Gibson. Maria grew up in Worthington and graduated from Worthington High School in 1991. She was employed by the Columbus Square Bowling Palace, recently working in the league office. She was loved by many and enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden. Maria deeply loved her family and enjoyed being with everyone at the family gatherings. She also loved talking and spending time with each of her cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bud and Tarita Monska, Bernard and Blanche Gibson, aunt Marilyn Cheeseman. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Dianne; brother, Robert; uncle, Norm Monska; cousins, Mike (Betsy) Cheeseman, Jeff (Trudy) Cheeseman, John (Teri) Cheeseman, Kurt, Mick and Joe Monska, Luke Cheeseman, Sarah (John) DeBolt; and family, Jesse, Jordan and Jace, Chris, Tom and Emily Cheeseman, Ethan, Chloe, Mitchell, Bianca and Brandon Monska; and her beloved dog, Butters. Family will receive friends Thursday December 8,2016 from 4-6:30 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 with a short service following.
