Marilyn King Obituary

KING Marilyn Jean King (LeVan), 56, of Westerville, died January 22, 2013. She brought an unmatched spirit and vitality to her roles as mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother, friend and co-worker. Marilyn began running in her late 30s and completed 11 marathons. She enjoyed golf, Cleveland Indians baseball, crossword puzzles, playing cards, reading, music and travel. She performed with the Dublin Singers at Carnegie Hall in 2002. Marilyn is survived by husband, Greg King; daughter, Sarah Curran (Ryan); son, Jeffrey Lutz (Shannon); grandchildren, Connor, Evan and Airyn, parents Bill and Carolyn LeVan; brothers, David LeVan (Lysa Tabachnick), Ralph LeVan (Beth Marsh). A Celebration of her Life will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 3 p.m. at Dublin Presbyterian Church, 5775 Dublinshire Drive, Dublin Ohio. Greg, Sarah and Jeff,
John will be there tomorrow--I wish I could be. Please know I will always think of Marilyn's fiery, can-do attitude as inspirational. She made us laugh a lot, too.

Sometimes it's the people you know for only a short period in your life, that make the largest impact. Marilyn had more confidence in me than I had in myself and that makes me work harder everyday. What a wonderful person...I truely miss her friendship. My deepest sympathy goes out to her entire family and friends.

I will always miss you, mom.

I was proud to call Marilyn a friend and co-worker. We worked together for the State. She went way beyond the expectations to help her clients. She was quite a lady, ornery and so much fun. My prayers go out to her family. She will certainly be missed.
