Mark Alan Hansford

Hansford Mark Alan Hansford, 60, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Hansford, grandson Jordan and brothers Michael and Martin. Mark was a US Army veteran and very proud of his service to our country. Mark was survived by his loving wife, Barb, of 38 years, who remained at his side through all of life's challenges. They shared every life experience together, including three children; daughter, Cherish (Eric); sons, William and Michael (Tammy); nine grandchildren, Caiden, Michael, Mikiah, Tommy, Lily, Jorden, Gage, Brooklyn and Elijah. Other survivors include his mother, Darlene Rae (John) Hansford; brother, Robert (Carl); as well as other family and many close friends, especially Terra and Brian "Hillbilly." The family would like to thank Bill Bailey, Peggy, Kaitie, and the Central Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Unit for their support.
