Our Bible study group, at the Church of Messiah, just heard about Mary being called home to the Lord. Her love for Christ was reflected in everything she did and many people were touch by her lifestyle. Her understanding of the Good News and the way she could explain scripture was a gift that everyone benefited from, when talking with her. My wife and I learned so much from her and were truely bless by knowing her. Her passion for life and love for everyone was her daily lifestyle.

I can see Jesus with his arms spread wide saying "welcome home my good and faithful servant". Mary was such a joy to be around, she truly lived the definition of discipleship.

Mary was an important part of my faith journey as a participant with me in a Disciple Bible Study class at Church of the Messiah. The Welcome Center she established there is a fitting tribute to her caring spirit. My sympathy to all of you who loved her.

My late mother; Sandy Kraut enjoyed Pastor's Bible study at Messiah with Mary. Mary was such a sweet kind hearted woman! You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.
