Mary Musgrove Obituary

Musgrove, Mary Lynne
Mary Lynne Musgrove, 78, surrounded by family, went home to God on January 30, 2018. She died of pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Sam; and their sons, Trey (wife Linda) of Worthington, Scott (wife Gretchen) of Seattle and Todd (wife Debbie) of Worthington; and two adored grandchildren, Samantha Lynne Musgrove and Wilder James Musgrove. She was in private practice as a counselor in Worthington for 35 years. She had a magnificent surgeon at Riverside Hospital and received exemplary care from Ohio Health for the final 18 months of her life. She was so struck by the inequity between the health care she received and the lack of care for people in Cambodia that she asked that, should anyone want to, they might send a donation to mercymedcambodia.org or Mercy Medical Center Cambodia Inc. P.O.Box 3014, Westerville, Ohio 43086. A memorial service will be held on February 17, 2018 at Xenos Christian Fellowship, 1340 Community Park Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43229. Visitation hours are 2-4pm, service at 4pm. Mary Lynne died full of joy at the privilege of going home to God. She said to remember that she went out singing.

Mary Lynne is the absolute greatest lady I know. She brought me to Christ and did so in such a loving fashion. The impact she had on me in other areas of my life will go unmatched. There was such healing simply in her words and peace in her presence. To Mary Lynne's family, my heart aches for your loss.

I had the privilege of working beside Mary Lynne for 7 years. She had a tremendous impact on my life and saw things in me I couldn't see. She taught me everything I know about helping people discern their true calling and sharing it with the world. There was something healing just being in Mary Lynne's presence. She embraced death like she did life with wonder and passion. I will be forever grateful she was in my life.

My thoughts, prayers and love are with Sam, Trey, Scott, Todd, Samantha and Wilder. May you find comfort in your sweet memories of her.

Mary Lynne was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Through her counseling, I was able to get through some very difficult times, including my own battle with cancer.

My sympathy goes out to the family. She was such a wonderful person.
