Dear Bruce, and Doug, and to all of the family and friends;

I, too, was much saddened and shocked to hear of Denise's death. My heart especially goes out to you, Bruce, as you now journey onward without her physical presence by your side. May her love and your faith carry you through the hard times. My mom, Helen Myers, and I will very much keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Mary Denise has touched the lives of many here on Earth and I, as one of the many, will miss her. The relatives on my dad's side are so few now. I hope that we all make a greater effort to keep in touch with each other.

Just a quick, fond memory of Denise: I met up with her and Doug in Ireland a couple of years ago. We exchanged views of how scary it was to drive there in Dublin. She later wrote: "I would go back in a heartbeat. It was gorgeous there." She had such great spirit.

May Thanksgiving always be a special time for fond memories of our loved ones.

A cousin to Denise,

Denise was one in a million! I am very saddened to hear of her passing, but I feel so honored to have known her. I will miss giggling with her and comparing hair stories. I have so much more to say, but cannot find the words. She will be missed.

I will always remember the laughs we had during the time I was blessed to know Denise. Regardless of weather, she was always a bright ray. I suppose it was her naturally curly locks... and like them regardless of obstacle - she'd spring back. Gold was the appropriate hair color as well, for she was truly a jem. I will miss her with my best smile, prettiest bangle, and warmest memory.

Dear Bruce and Family,

I know it has been a long journey for all of you over the last 18 months. Denise was our friend and our colleague and never gave up hope. She was an inpiration to all of us with her determination, generosity and her infectious personality. Denise was always upbeat and smiling, each day was met with a positive outlook...and her sense of humor was the best! She meant so much to all of us here at OSUMC. We are all so saddened by her death but celebrate the way that she has touched our lives.

It doesn't make any difference how far we becaome seperated to feel the lose. A friend of a friend's lose is equally distributed all around the country. I wish you the very best and though I am not physically there in Columbus my thoughts are for you and I hope to ease the load from all our lose.
