VanWALSEN Mary K. VanWalsen, age 79, Wednesday, June 10, 2009, Houston, Tex. Preceded in death by husband John A. VanWasen, parents William and Beulah Atkinson and sisters Jean Livengood and Jeri Steele. Survived by children, John D. (Laura) VanWalsen, Linda Pearson, Judith VanWalsen, Richard D. (Maggie) VanWalsen; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where funeral service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. Rev. Clint Livengood officiating. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery. www.evansfuneralhome.net.
