I am so sorry I was unable to attend Aunt Lou's funeral however I am honored to have many fond memories of her especially her visits to her sister's house (my grandmother) whenever a good meal was prepared. We all appreciated Mam-Maw's cooking and Aunt Lou was no exception. I loved her and her stories immensly. She will be dearly missed.

I knew Mrs. Ratliff simply as "Grandma". The first time i met her (25 yrs ago)she was dressed in a animal print outfit from head to toe and i thought, this is one jazzy grandmother(smile). She will be greatly missed by her family, extended family and friends. She definitely touched my life.

Close friend of Debbie's.

To my second family, I did not know grandma as well as you, but she was the great great grandmother of my grand children. I enjoyed knowing her. I missed her presence at Southeast Market and her jewlery. Her smile will never before gotten and her words of wisdom. Take confort in knowing she is telling others what is right. She will be truly miss. You know you can call on me anytime you need me. Peace and blessing to the family. Always.

To the family,

I belong to ITC where I met Ms. Ratliff about four years ago. I remember watching how vibrant she was and seeing the enthusiastic look on her face as if she was at a Region Conference for the first time. She was a very encouraging lady. I will truly miss her.

May God continue to bless you and smile upon you until we all shall meet in heaven.

What a wonderful example Marty gave of how to live life gracefully even when health begins to fail. She was a wonderful lady with a variety of experiences and a wealth of knowledge. I will miss her greatly at our ITC Heart of America Region Conference. May God be with you during this sad time.

Knowing "Ms. Marty" for the time I have known her has been a blessing for me. I will forever remember how sharp she always was, both in mind and in dress! I know her halo and wings will be adorned with sequins and jewels! God has a special Angel with Him now. She will always be one of my Mentors in ITC. She had a way of making you feel good about yourself. Only Ms. Marty could out-shine Tyra Banks even if she were wearing an old house robe and beat up slippers. She has taken her place in Glory and she is still shining. There is not one like her and I will miss her. Blessings to the family.
