I have so many memories of Mindy. I met their family when I was 11 years old. I spent many days and nights at there home. She would always be cooking and cleaning (things some of this new generation don't have time for). Mindy took care of home completely and that was something I always admired about her. Clothes washed and folded, dinner ready when Tim got home from work (I love Tim). I was Mindy and Tim's 6th child and they didn't know it. Whenever they were going to the beach or fishing Arlinda would say "hey, Kenyatta wants to go" and I would. We would complain about fishing for long hours but now I appreciate all of that, I never went fishing with my own family. Back to that fond memory of her COOKING, that woman could really throw down in the kitchen and I ate more than a few meals with them. I remember little things like her music selection, over there you could hear everything from Hank Williams Jr. to Hal & Oates to Tupac. Mindy was so special and her leaving hit me as hard as my mother's passing. Arlinda, Dee, Timmy, James and Chris I know your pain. Some days it will feel as if you can't make it without her but each day will get a little easier. I am praying for all of the family. She is a beautiful angel watching over everyone.
