Michael "Mike" Philip Anderson, age 58, of Columbus, passed away on December 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born on April 30, 1962 in Miami, FL. Mike (Mikey to his friends) was founder and President of Anderson Floors where he serviced commercial businesses throughout central Ohio. Mike was well known and respected because of his integrity. He was a loving father who would do anything for his kids, always supporting their activities in hockey, dance and school. His other love was fishing and golf. His camaraderie on the golf course and witty chop-busting made the experience so enjoyable for everyone around him. A very intelligent person, and avid trivia player, student of history and politics and could hold an intelligent conversation or debate anyone. Mike made friends wherever he went and was a very loyal friend. Mike is survived by his son, Clayton; and daughters, Brittany and Crystal; his girlfriend, Colleen Rezabek; and his sister, Julie Anderson Hunt; and many nieces and nephews; and many friends and colleagues. He is predeceased by his father Bill, mother Margaret Smith and sister Eileen. He is sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5-7pm. Memorial service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 1pm.
