I have gotten to know the entire Fultz family through my friendship with Rose. Nicole, I am so sorry that you have lost your best friend. It was so obvious to all of us who saw you guys together how you were meant for each other. Mike was lucky to have you in his life for all these years. I wish there was something to do or say to make just a tiny bit of your heartbreak go away. To Judy and John, we all know that you would give up everything you have to help your kids. I wish this tragedy did not happen to such nice people. Chuck and Mark - I know that losing Mike hurt you both immensely because you not only lost a brother, you lost a best friend. Rosie - you know we love you. Sending love and prayers and hoping that each day hurts just a little bit less.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mike through my nephew Paul Roetzer. I have wonderful memories of Mike's laugh and his joy for life. He was a great friend. Mike was always a strong man and could face adversity with a smile. He brought many good memories to many brothers of ours and touched numerous lives in a positive manner. I know he's in a better place and following God's plan (Jeremiah 29:11).
He had an infectious laugh and was a great man. I will miss him.

I remember meeting your fiance, Michael at the fish fry for St. Ladislas about 2 years ago, and Taylor would recall how he used to bring your dog to St. Ignatius of Antioch School, to entertain the children. I would like to extend my sincere condolances to Nicole and the Fultz family on the loss of a truely great man. Mike had a different priority in decision making than anyone else I have met. He always did the right thing without looking at difficulty of acheivement, burden on himself, or thoughts of others coming into account. People talk about doing the right thing, Mike is someone who actually did it.
He helped many through hard times myself included, I know he will be sorely missed.

As I sit here reflecting on the 15 years that I knew Mike,I can do nothing but smile. From the boy that I met at Ignatius to the man that I saw just a few months ago, every memory makes me smile.

To the friends, family, and loved ones of Michael: my thoughts and prayers are with you. I just became aware of Mike’s passing this morning. I am truly saddened. I knew Mike well at Ignatius, but we really became better friends while in law school. There were a handful of us who would gather from time to time – often in Lakewood—to commiserate about law school. Always the optimist, always a breath of fresh air, it was great fun to be around Mike Fultz! Michael now you see God face to face, and I know you’re already keeping a watchful eye over all of us.
