Delores and Family,
I wa saddened to hear of Micheal's passing.
For many who know Jesus as their savior, it is a celebration to be absent of the body and in the presence of the Lord!I remember Micheal as a "quiet giant." He was always quiet yet his smile was such a presence.
My family and I pray you find peace through this time. Peace that passes all understanding.
Love,
Julie Spinosa Deputy

We were so sad to hear of Michael's passing. He was a very special person, and will always have a special place in my heart. No matter how much time would pass between the times we would see each other at family events, I could always feel his love and caring for everyone in the family. Dear Dolores and Family, We were so very sad to hear about Mike's illness and his passing. He was always a very special friend at Villanova sharing his dorm room and then his apartment to those in "need". We know the ravages of this disease as our son had a classmate who succumbed in his 30's leaving a young family. You and Mike will always be in our prayers and thoughts. We hope that you find comfort and peace.

Dear Mrs. McGroarty and family - although it has been a few years, I have such great memories of Mr. M. and all of us just goofing off and just having a good time. I will never forget the sternum crushing hugs and that crazy laugh of his. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we are indeed sorry for your loss. Bobby Bernard and family.

Dearest Cousins Delores, Gina, Lisa, Chuck, Michele, Ann Marie, Charles, Barbara, Patty and families,
Our hearts are so very saddened at the loss of our dear cousin, Michael. He was truly "one of a kind" and a very special human being. I always admired, looked up to, and loved him. None of us cousins will ever forget him or his loving and caring ways--especially his warm and meaningful hugs. I actually have a very old picture of my parents, me, and 2 of my siblings and 3 of the McGroarty kids--very precious. Actually, Michael is holding me in the picture. I love and will treasure that picture always. I and all my siblings are so very sorry that we were unable to be there with you all to offer our heartfelt sympathies and support. Unfortunately, the weather and flooding conditions in our and surrounding ares made it impossible for us to do so. Please know that we had every intention of being there with you. We hope to see you one day soon. We will keep you and Michael in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all! Love, Your Cousin, Mary (Lorusso)

Dear Mrs. McGroarty, Lisa, Gina, Charlie and Michele:
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. McGroarty. I have many fond memories of times well spent with all of you -- with Lisa and Gina especially -- as well as the hospitality you showed me when I visited you in Columbus when I was in college. If I recall correctly, Mr. McGroarty made some really delicious bread during that visit.
Know that you are in my thoughts and that I feel for you during this sad time.

Dear Dolores and family,
Kay and I are saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great friend and co-worker. I will always remember Mike for his patience, compassion and for the love he deeply displayed for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and for you and his family. Mike's presence made the world a better place. I'm certain he is now in paradise with our Heavenly Father. May the Lord bless and shed his heavenly grace upon you all. Mike will be missed by all who knew him.
Sincerely,

My dearest family,
From the time when we were little at Grandma's, as his first cousin, I looked up to Michael as the big brother I never had; I still do. God needed a good man to help out. I know he'll be watching out for all of us.
Love always,

Dear Dolores and family,
So sorry to hear about Mike but I rejoice that he has completed his pilgrimage to the Father's Kingdom. May he enjoy Heaven forever.
I remember him fondly from St. Joan's Parish. He used to make breakfast for us priests on Sunday mornings and he was always upbeat and positive. I enjoyed it too when his children came to "help" him. Those were happy days. He was a bright guy who had a great family. May you strengthen each other by your courage and love. God bless you all.

Dolores;
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to you and the whole extended McGroarty family. Mike was a true friend that would help whenever called on. His Catholic perspective and his willingness to share in our Irish heritage, and culture blessed our Hibernian community.
Our Division may have lost a true treasure but we all have gained a heavenly advocate.
