Mike was a good friend. He was always calm; a man with a generous heart. He was a good listener to his friends and loved his kids dearly. His early departure is a great loss to all of us that knew him.

Mike will be forever missed... Mike has been such an amazing blessing in my life and his children’s. He never had a single enemy. Mike truly loved everyone. My prayers are that each of us loves like Christ and Mike truly showed that type of love. There are a life time of memories. 11 blessing years the Lord allowed us to be part of each other’s life. 31 years the Lord allowed you to be a part of many. We will forever be grateful. I will love you forever but I know our heavenly father loves you more. You are now at peace. R.I.P my friend, life and love.

Mike, you have always been more than just friend to me you're more like a brother, and your passing won't change that. We have built a lifetime of memories together, whether it was racing popsickle sticks in the gutters, building snow forts in your front yard, playing voltron with your mom's towels, having pencil fights on the bus on the way to school, watching Tim doing back flips off of the fence, being grossed out by Roy eating bees (or so we thought), or playing pool in your mother's basement it was always fun to have you around. Not to mention the countless other times you were there for me whenever I needed you. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you on Thanksgiving Day when you needed me most. I love you and I miss you little brother.
I know it will only be seconds to you until next we meet, but it's an eternity to me.

In disbelief this is written. I can not explain how much Mike was loved and will be missed. My prayers go to his close friends and family thru this hard time. I have known Mike for as long as I can remember, we grew up together, had kids together and were close even though i was usually on the other end of the world. I will cherish all the many memories we made over these years. Mike I will truly miss you and all you were. All my love and prayers go out Tasha, Mykkel, Keosha, Micheal Jr and Mr. and Mrs. James and the rest of his close family and friends.

Mike I never expected to be signing your Obituary NO not before me never:( You are my little brother I will never forget how you were there for me during a critical time in my life we cried together and because of that day, you had a special place in my heart. I will always cherish the memories always. God has bless us all to even allow us to have been in your presences. Goodbye for now little brother until we meet again.

Words can not explain how heavy my heart is feeling right now. I am in awe. Micheal will truely be missed. I have had the pleasure of knowing Micheal for over 10 years and each day, each hour, and every minute was such a joy. I am saddened by the lost of such a great man, friend, and colleague.
