Mitchel Davenport Obituary

Davenport Mitchel E. Davenport, age 56, died unexpectedly at his home on July 15, 2014. He was born on November 17, 1957 in Columbus, grew up in Sunbury and graduated from Big Walnut High School in 1975. He retired from the State Library after 30 years of service. He is survived by his parents, Winfred "Tuffy" and Mary Davenport; brothers, Michael of New Jersey and Max and his wife, Marne of Radnor; nieces, Dakota, Molly, Madeline; and nephew, Micah; and sister-in-law, Robin. Mitchel is preceded in death by one brother Mickey Davenport. Respecting Mitch's wishes, there will be no services. Condolences may be expressed at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com

I am so sorry to hear of Mitch's passing. I have many fond memories of playing pool, having a friendly beer and nice discussions with Mitch. He was a good man, and he will be missed.
