I would like to express my deepest sorrow for the Steen family and friends. Nathan was a wonderful person, musician, and friend. Though we had fallen out of contact over the years, learning of his loss is still terribly painful. May I offer my unwavering sorrow for those who are greiving and assurance that those in pain are in my prayers.

During my junior year at Grandview Heights High School, I used to sit next to Nate and his good friend, John in our Algebra II class. Unfortunately, I didn't get to know him all that well, but do recall that he was quite a good chess player and musician. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
