I remeber when we were preparing for a concert and people were not smiling and you made us do push-ups as we smiled and you told me that you loved my smile. That day really touched me. You are also the person who made me like the uniqueness of my name. You also told me I was one of the best singers in your choir. I can hear you saying " Get on my music, get on my stuff". When we went to Magic Mountain I had so much fun and you were not what I expected at all. You are a clown and that's why it was so easy to talk to you. I love you and your legacy will continue on at Franklin.

U were like a second mom to every student u taught and to those u didn't teach, u stiil brought a smile to their face when u were here and I tear to there eye when u went home. Now to ur family I pray for them and ask GOD tolet them know that u really r in a better place now and I ask him to be wit joshua so he wont be sad and also be able to understand that u r in a better place and that he will join u again some day. Mrs. Brown you were truely an inspiration to me and all of the other students you taught and the others who knew you. And by all of us you will be greatly missed. I never told you but being in your symphonic choir made my three years at franklin one of the most awesome experiences of my life. Just being able to say that I was apart of your circle was a blessing. I miss you alot and will never forget you and all you have done for me. Over the years being in your class has made my ability of knowing how to sing, dance and read music improve. You changed my life in so many ways. I remember so many times when I wanted to quit, you know just give up. But it was because of you I didn't. Because of you I faced my fears instead of continuing to hide from them. You gave me a gift that I will never loose. Franklin will never be the same and no one will ever bre able to replace you. I love you Mrs.Brown and you will always remain in my heart.
To Mrs. Browns family I dont't know what your going through but I do know what it is like to loose someone very close to you. But pain doesn't last always and someday we'll all see her again. Until then, keep your heads up and stay strong. Just like she would want you to.

"Ivy" was a great girl and it is apparent that so many others knew it! She was my Sister-in-Law, and I saw her, Keith, and Joshua whenever they visited Cleveland. She was a wonderful musician, teacher, mother, and wife. We will all miss her very much. On behalf of the Brown/Relaford Family, I say 'Thanks' to everyone for their prayers and words of comfort.

Mrs.Brown,
I am so sorry to her that you are gone. You were so pretty. The lord took you for a reason. That reason must be good, to take you from your family and friends. There is a lost of words. But as the years go on there will be more. I can not believe that you are gone. I figured that youi had so much love in the world, they don't think your gone.

I was shocked and very saddened to read the obituary last night and discover the demise of a very special person. I had the privilege of being Olive's first teacher. She was in my kindergarten class at Deshler Elementary School. That same beautiful smile was apparent even as a very young child. And how pleased I was to cross paths with her again just a few years ago as she and I both attended a Fellowship of Christian Educator's Meeting. It was such a pleasure to discover that she received the same wonder call of God as I. It is my prayer that the Lord will grant you the comfort and grace that only He can give. I know she will be greatly missed, but I certainly pray that your very fond memories can see you through. God bless you all!

Dear Mrs.Brown
I didn't know you all like that but I knew you enough to what a great person you where. I did get to know you when I tried out for Show Choir. You are my favorite teacher
at Franklin Middle. When I was having a bad day I wlked by your room and herd your choir singing. I would find myself tring to sneak a look though the crack of the door. After about a minuite or so I wuld walk away with a smile on my face tring to sing the song.
Everyday duriing third quarter I would say "I can't wait till third period, I have Mrs.Brown's class."
I wish I could have spent more time with you . I always hear Taylor and them talking about when they were in your class. And ya'll had a huge
laugh.
To the Family of Mrs.Brown:
Your family member Mrs.Brown was a wonderful person and she touched all if peoples life though music. But she also thout us more than music she thout us life. I know it's hard losing someone so special. I know every one is telling you this but it really does work to think of the good time you had with her. I will keep the whole family in my prays.

Mrs.Brown even though I didn't tell you often enough how much you meant to me I know you knew. From the three wonderful and most memory filled years at Franklin we had are up's and downs but through it all you were there for me. I just want you to know that you were the most honest, funest person I knew. We only kicked it a couple of times and got to know each other but I will remeber forever.Whether it was me coming in everyday at lunch to talk and just have fun or showing the class ma slow motion wap just to get a laugh I will always remember your true expressions, your beautiful smile or you never forgotton laugh. So from the bottom of my heart Mrs.Brown I want you to know that I love you and you will always be in my heart always and forever.Joshua and Mr.Brown I dont know whats it like to lose a mother or a spouse but I can only imagine the hell you are going through. So I want to share a saying that Mrs.Brown shared with me that I will never forget "You get one life so make sure you live it to the fullest" so know that she will always be remebered and loved and she will always be there for you and looking out for you.You will always be in my prayers and if there anything you need feel free to contact me.

Although I did not know Mrs. Brown personally, my niece was a student of hers at Franklin Alternative and because she spoke about her often I felt as if I did know her. She was a great inspiration to all who knew her. She was a wonderful teacher and taught the kids a lot, not only about school but about life. My prayers go out to her family and I want them to know that in the midst of all that looks gloomy, God is still in control. Looketh to the hills which cometh all of our help, all of our help comeths from the Lord (Psalms 121)
May God continue to bless you,

Mrs. Brown will always be remembered as an awesome teacher - to not only the children, but to the parents as well. My daughter Aija has come home countless times to teach me swing dance, ballroom dance, line dance (including Mrs. Brown's own Buckeye Shuffle!), music notes and pitches, new songs and various other things that Mrs. Brown had shared with them. Her enthusiasiam for music and the way she inspired the children reached far beyond the walls of Franklin Alternative and into the lives of us all. May the work she's done speak for her.

Although I never met Mrs. Brown personally. Hearing the good things from my daughter, Kyla, about her, made me feel proud that my daughter had an exceptional teacher. As well as a role model. She was tough at times on the students, but it was for they're own good. I'm sure they know she did it for the passion she had for music. They will always remember her for that.
My deepest sympathy to her family.
She will be hard to replace. Never forgotten. Thank you for shining bright for my daughter and her fellow students.

Mrs. Brown was a true professional in every sense of the word. She thought of her position at Franklin as more than just a job but a calling. She always had a wonderful smile which lit up a room. I had hoped to work with her and learn from her for many years to come. I will treasure what little time we had together. She loved life, music, and most of all her God. Thank you, Olive, for your witness and spirit. You will be missed.
To her family, may God's blessings and comfort be with you at this time. Hopefully be comforted by the fact that God's choir has another special voice to praise Him.

When your born you are crying and everyone around you are smiling, but when you die you are smiling and everyone around you is crying.
Mrs.Brown I will never forget you, you were an awsome person and I truely thank God for granting me the chance to meet and have a great relationship with you. I will always strive to be the person that you let me know that I could be. I remember when I became one of your assistants, I was so excited because you had such a great personality, and you were always ready for a challenge. I remember going home everyday saying that I wanted to be just like you. When I was in the wrong you let me know and didn't sugarcoat it at all you were straight forward with it and I thank you for that. You always made me do my beat and wouldn't take anything less than my best. You truely loved God and put him in your everyday life. You are my role model. Everyday, there will be something that remind me of how a great person you were. I can see you now smiling over us, we know that you are in a better place. We know that you are in heaven directing the choir and we know that they sound beautiful because you are there.
To the family, my condolences to you, Mrs.Brown was a true angel and now she's in her rightful home, in heaven preparing and place for ya'll, watching over your every move, waiting for the day that she can be able to welcome ya'll to heaven, because she fought her fight and made it to heaven, its now our turn to fight the fight so we will be able to go to heaven and be with our beloved Olive Brown once again.

My heart truly goes out to the family and many friends that "Ms Brown" touched. Both of my daughters (Alyssa and Ayesha) had the priviledge of having her teach them in school. I also on occasion spoke with her. She loved the children with a pure love, God's love, I am so sorry Ayesha didn't get to finish her 6 grade with her. Her enthusiasm for music and the Buckeyes was contatious!! She will be missed. But as believers we all know to be absent in the body, is to be present with the Lord! She is now in that heavenly choir, worshipping and praising our Father. To the Family, lean and depend on the Lord allow him to comfort you as only he can.

To the family of Mrs. Olive Brown,
Thank you so much for sharing Mrs. Brown with us. She has impacted the lives of so many people through her gift of music. Her dedication to the youth of Franklin Alternative Middle School (FAMS) is much appreciated. As a parent of a previous FAMS show choir member, I see Mrs. Brown's light shining every time my son, Sean Mundy, performs in his high school choir. It would be a great deed to count the numerous seeds that Mrs. Brown has planted in these students. Rest assured that God's great choir has just received one blessed angelic voice upon her arrival.
Her strength and works live on not only through Joshua but through a multitude of other children. Let God's spirit comfort you through this darkest hour.

My condolences to the Brown Family and to her son Joshua. God has come to take Olivia home with the rest of his most precious Angels.
I first met Olivia when my daughter was one of her music student. She was there at the hospital when my daughter, Micheon Meacham, became ill and was there at her "going home" this past May. My daughter loved Olivia and spoke highly of her. I know both Olivia and Micheon are singing and dancing with the Heavenly Father. I am Blessed to have known Olivia.

I will miss Ms. Brown, so, so, much, she was my friend as well as my teacher and I loved her and she was trying to make me a better student as far as my grades go, I will try my best to be the best. You can eat all the candy you want in heaven Ms. Brown and not worry about getting fat : ) To her family: stay strong and God be with you. Love, Donovan
