Phillip Lane Obituary
1950 - 2018
Phillip "Phil" Raymond Lane, 68, Pickerington and formerly of Gallipolis, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his residence. Born January 2, 1950 in Gallipolis, OH, son of the late Raymond and Pauline Phillips Lane. Graduated from Gallia Academy High School in 1968 and retired from American Electric Power in 2010 with 38 years of service. He was the devoted husband of Pamela S. Terry Lane since October 14, 1973 and a loving father who became greatly involved in the lives and activities of their three daughters. He participated, coached and sponsored their sports, band, fundraisers and other activities. This love and involvement continued with his granddaughters. Also survived by his daughters, Valerie (Mike) Riggs, London, OH, Suzann Lane, Canal Winchester, OH and Melissa (Karl) Boczek, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; and granddaughters, Jessica Riggs, Makayla Whitmyre and Evelyn Boczek. Visitation 5-7 P.M. Monday, August 13, 2018 at the CREMEENS-KING FUNERAL HOME, 75 Grape Street, Gallipolis. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the Gallia County Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 1007, Gallipolis, OH 45631.
