I remember seeing Mrs. Havener walking my house on Bedford Rd. on her way back from attending church. She walked with such a great pace. She was a wonderful friend to my parents.

Please remember that your Mom will remain in my thoughts and prayers in the years to come as she has during this last year. The memorial service for Phyllis at Trinity was so special...I think of her often as I am in the sanctuary on Sundays. You are a very special family. I am so glad to have shared some of this life's journey with all of you! Much love, Joanne Barrere

Of all Mrs. Havener's wonderful qualities, her patience and friendliness stand out. She put up with loud Cub Scouts, out-of-control Risk games, and sleepovers that had very little sleeping. She was a great friend to my mother -- they enjoyed going to plays together -- and always welcomed me whenever I came to visit Mike. I last saw her about two years ago, and despite her health challenges, we had a wonderful time talking about everything from cell phones to our days in Upper Arlington. While I am sad that she is no longer with us, I am grateful to her and to Dr. Havener for enriching my life.

Dear Ann and family,
I was saddened this morning in reading your Mother's obituary, but happy for all of you for having her in your lives for such a wonderfully long time. Just this past December, at 94, my own Mother died so I respect the sadness and pain you must all be feeling now. All the glory goes to God for promising us a Heaven where life and love are never ending.
I wish you, Ann, and all of you peace and grace.

All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers as I remember Phyllis not only as a dear friend at Trinity Church, but also as a loving, caring parent of her children who attended Barrington Elementary School. (I was the sixth grade teacher of her daughters!). I hope to share memories with you at Trinity on April 2. May God strengthen and bless you in the weeks ahead.

Dear Haveners -
I was so fortunate to have known your mom (and dad) and they definately had an impact on my life. The first recyclers I ever knew. The lasting gift of the farm, now the park that I still go to now with grandchildren. I will always remember fun times with the Haveners, singing while riding backwards in the station wagon, frog gigging, fishing, tobogganing, learning to ride a horse, swimming and watching your dad swim with those flippers on, making chef-boy-ar-dee pizza, playing games, waiting to reach the peddles of the tractor so we could drive it, and listening to your moms calm voice and laughter. The world has lost a wonderful lady. So proud to have known her and will always remember. Thanks for sharing her and your dad with me in the earlier years. Love to you all.
