Raymond Feasel Obituary

Feasel Raymond Francis "Ray" Feasel, age 71 of Columbus, died on May 2, 2013 at home, surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. Born on July 10, 1941, he was a Production Foreman at Techniglas for 41 years, now retired. He was a Free Mason from the Toledo-Ford Lodge. Ray was a blood donor of 152 pints for the American Red Cross. He was preceded in death by parents Otto and Eliza Feasel, brothers Don, Jim, Bill, Sonny and Larry Feasel, sisters Edna Wood and Mary Jane Davis. Survived by children, Kevin, Todd of Charlotte, NC, and Brent (Whitney) of Savannah, GA; beloved of 34 years, Dee Feasel; brother, Bob (Linda) of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Jason (Sarah), Melissa, Justin and Katrina Feasel; grand-child, Miles Feasel; daughters-in-law, Patty Feasel and Vicky Feasel; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, many nieces and nephews; special friend, Harriett Wade; along with many other friends. He loved playing golf with his friends, but walking at Three Creeks with all his "buddies" was a close second. He was always watching for eagles, deer and other wildlife. At home, his flower gardens were his passion. Many liked to call him friend; he will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SW CHAPEL, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Headley Cemetery in Blacklick, OH. God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you .
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

So sorry for your loss!
